Central Japan

Host of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, central Japan is the bedrock of the Japanese ski industry including the Hakuba Valley, Nozawa Onsen and Shiga Kogen resorts. Just a train ride from Tokyo, it is the most accessible of areas in Japan.
